I enclose for your information a copy of the Minutes of

the Third Meeting of the Executive Committee, together with a

copy of a letter which has been sent to the Foreign Office

today.

The Minutes of the Fourth Meeting held on November 3rd

will be sent to you as soon as they have been confirmed.

I have today received a letter from the Honorary Secretary

of the Hongkong Branch of the China Association dated October 27th.

I enclose a copy of it, together with the extracts from a long

memorandum enclosed in it.
